Amy Duggar King expresses her wish for her cousin Josh Duggar to endure "complete torment" while in prison.

Amy Duggar King expressed her stark sentiments regarding her cousin Josh Duggar, who is currently serving time in prison for charges related to child sexual abuse images.

“I hope every day there is absolute torture for him,” King conveyed to People. “I really hope that, because what he watched and what he was viewing for his own fulfillment is those kids experiencing torture.”

She further stated, “He deserves every second in there, and I hope he gets a longer term. I hope he messes up again.”

In May 2022, Josh, known for his appearances on TLC’s “19 Kids and Counting,” was found guilty and sentenced to 12 years in federal prison for federal charges related to downloading and possessing child sexual abuse images, despite pleading not guilty.

Josh, the eldest child of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, who gained fame through their reality show, has faced prior controversies. In 2015, he faced allegations of sexually abusing underage girls, leading to the cancellation of “19 Kids and Counting.”

Regarding her relationship with Josh and his wife Anna, King noted that she has severed ties with them. Despite offering support to Anna and her children in the past, King admitted she hasn't communicated with them since crossing paths at a funeral in 2023. Though tempted to confront Anna, King refrained out of respect for the occasion.

Reflecting on the situation, King speculated on Anna's feelings, believing she is likely angry. She expressed concern for Josh’s children, emphasizing the importance of justice being served.

“I will just say that whatever you do in the darkness comes out in the light. If you’re going to look at such disgusting and sickening images, justice has to be served,” King concluded.
